What is Impactos Retreats?
Experience a refreshing and enriching weekend with your family at our two-day retreat event! Held at a designated Catholic parish within the Archdiocese of Miami, the retreat is geared towards empowering families to strengthen their relationships and deepen their faith. With engaging guest speakers covering various topics such as social media, spousal and parental communication, there’s something for every family member to learn and grow from. While the adults engage in learning, the children will have a blast with fun-filled activities and outdoor playtime. This event is open to all families, so come as you are and join us for a memorable retreat experience!
What are the benefits of IMPACTOS Retreats?
Get a better understanding of your children during the most important character-forming years.
Designed for couples with children between the ages of 3 toll years of age.
The children also enjoy a series of activities suited to their age.
Couples with children between the ages of 3 to 12 may attend without their children. Expecting parents are also invited to participate.
Kids become teenagers in a blink! Make sure you grasp the chance to provide them with guidance and support for a promising future.

Does my family need to be part of the parish?
No, it is a family ministry within the archdiocese and open to all families.
My spouse may be working that weekend; may I attend alone with my children?
Unfortunately not; it is a family retreat and husband and wife must attend the full retreat schedule with their children.
May my children attend?
Yes, the retreat is forthe family (parents and their children)
How long is the retreat?
It is a two-day weekend retreat that takes place on a Saturday and Sunday.
What are the times for the retreat?
Saturday – 9 to 5 pm and Sunday – 9 to 6:30 pm
How much does the retreat cost?
Nothing; it is free to attend.
Do we need to bring food?
No; we include breakfast, snacks, and lunch.
What if my children have any food allergies or a special diet?
No problem; we will take extra care and precautions for any person attending the retreat who may have any allergies to any foodsor are on a special diet.
What if we are not practicing Catholics?
No problem; you may attend.
What if I do not know anyone attending?
No problem; we know that you, your spouse, and your children will make friends through the retreat.
What is the retreat about?
We provide different talks on the social environment, dialogue with spouses, and dialogue with children and family in today’s world.
What do the children do?
They are provided with different activities in a supervised classroom and play in the playground.
Do I get to see my children?
Yes, you will get to have breakfast, lunch, and throughout the day with the different activities.
Who spends time with the children?
Virtus*trained parents. Teens who have attended previous Impactos retreats also assist with adult supervision. (*Please visit virtusonline.org for more information)
What things should I bring to the retreat?
An appetite and sweater.
Do you have any age restrictions?
Yes,children must be potty trained which is normally 3 years old and up and be no older than 12 years of age.
